I just bought a new boat and need to sell this one. This is a 17ft aluminum fishing boat with a hand operated 54 lbs thrust minn koda trolling motor with a big foot botton installed. It has all aluminum decking that will never need replaced and good carpet. It also has a hummingbird fish finder. It has a 60hp evinrude carborated which has just been fully service (I have reciept). It has 2 six gallon fuel tanks and a seperate oil tank - oil and gas do not need premixing as the motor does it automatically. The engine runs perfect and the boat glides on the water effortlessly. It has two fishing seats, one on front and one on back. Also tags and registration have recently been updated. Clear title. This was my first boat and I really enjoyed it - caught a lot of fish out of it. I anchored it quite often for hybrids at belton, but also used it for largemouth bass fishing.

Its perfect for fishing and skiing. It has a 1979 85 hp Evinrude, 39lbs trolling motor(used only a couple of times since we bought it brand new), Hummingbird fish/depth finder, life vests, ski bar, bimini top that needs a little work and has more stuff.
It does need some carpet in the main deck and a patch in the live well, we use it currently for storage. The trim needs a new motor, It should run you around 100.00 if you know how to install it.
We have taken it out recently on Stillhouse Hollow Lake and love to use it for our days out on the lake. The trailer could use a little work, on the guides, and could use some new tires soon.

Has clean title and current registration on the boat and trailer.

It is a 3 seater boat, it has a 90hp 3cyl 2stroke engine, jet drive. Everything in good condition runs great, I think the fuel tank is 12 or 15gal. It has reverse, and pulls a tube pretty good for its size its only 14ft long. I have title and decals in my truck. The bow and stern lights plug in, it comes with 4 life jackets a throw square, collapsable paddle, and I have a 1 person tube w/ rope. Serious buyers we can go out for a test ride on a weekend or if you want a weekday ride, cant go until after 5-6:00. Would make a good fishing boat since its jet drive you can get into pretty tight and shallow places. It also has a place to mount a trolling motor in the front and plug it in, on the front storage compartment it has a place to put a swivel seat. It dosent need a drain plug, Im going to get an automatic bilge pump for it, it has a manuel one, also has the engine compartment fume fan both are controlled from the driver seat. Boat is awesome on the lake takes corners fast and sharp and once you get comfortable with it, you and you family or friends will have a blast. So if your looking for a boat that dosent take up alot of space at the house easy to pull with a vehicle then this is the boat for you, trust me. "I hate to get rid of it" and im sure everyone on craigslist says that just before they stick it to you, but due to medical conditions and pcsing in the near future its gotta go. The engine is a 1974 Mercury 402/40 HP
New cowling (150.00), repainted, carb rebuilt (100.00), new prop (150.00), new spark plugs (10.00). Custom trim and tilt (800.00). Compression 125PSI in both cylinders. needs electrical work
The boat is an 18FT 1968 Aluminum V Hull with high Gunnels. Not like a john boat!
FLOOR: I reinforced the stringers, installed flotation, fiber glassed marine � plywood, Custom thru floor access, and 3M 5200 sealed the edges for water runoff. Inside sealed with sealer for exposed rivets and to protect against leaks. Stainless screws to hold floor to stringers. New indoor outdoor carpet glued to sides of hull and floor
INSIDE: LOCKERS/STORAGE: Custom hatches, stainless hinges and hardware, to include all screws. Designed to stand on for fishing or be used as additional seating, carpeted and surrounded with aluminum for a finished look. Inside of storage has been painted to resist corrosion and to give a nice clean look, flush mount seat mounts 2 total for bass seats, new seats 3 total, and side console mounted with stainless screws and reinforced with marine ply for added strength. Steering wheel controls have been modified so that the starter/choke is located on dash instead of remote. Remote cables throttle and shifter in good shape, steering cable cover rough but still operates properly, I have lubricated all cables and checked performance
ELECTRONICS: Bow/stern light (50.00), new wiring front to back (150.00), new ground block, new switch panel (125.00), radio with water resistant cover (150.00) 4 speakers (100.00), fish finder older model, new trim/tilt wiring harness relay, Battery switch 1-both 2 off, 500GPH bilge pump. 3 new deep cycle marine batteries, older 28LB Minn Kota trolling motor with foot pedal controls. Needs new prop.
EXTERIOR HULL: new Bilge thru hull fitting, additional thru hull at stern for live bait well install, basic but new paint job (blue with white stripe), 3M 5200 sealed at bottom for leak protection, stern has been reinforced with � marine ply for added strength if larger horsepower is sought later. The boat according to the data plate can handle up to 85hp without the extra reinforcement that I added. The stern was 3M 5200 sealed to aluminum with stainless bolts attaching it to the hull. The Trim and tilt is also bolted to the marine ply with stainless and the engine is mounted to the trim bracket with stainless bolts.
TRAILER: 1973 aluminum trailer with winch strap. New tires, bearings and bearing buddies, could use new carpet on skids and side bunkers. I didn�t have the chance to start to much more on the trailer that was the next step. Drove it down from Arkansas with no problems. Tagged and legal for transport.
I just do not have the time to finish; the boat ran great when I tested it in Arkansas with a rotten floor and all the wiring problems. Haven�t started it since before deployment last year. Great fixer upper to someone that wants a good dependable older boat. Great for fishing and possibly tubing for the kids.
