We are moving and need to sell two bikes. This one is a Univega 701 aluminum mountain bike that I converted to more of a road bike which I call an “all-rounder”. The frame measures 19” on the seat tube and 23” on the top tube, thus being suitable for someone that is between 5’ 9” and 6’ 1”. This 21 speed bike has new Shimano thumb shifters, with an Alivio derailleur and the crank being a 42/32/22, and the rear cluster being an 11/28 with a new Shimano rear derailleur, and new cables throughout. The pedals are two sided with the standard on one side, and an SPD on the opposite side. The saddle is an anatomical WTB. The brakes are Shimano cantilever with new Cool Stop brake pads. This bike included a rear rack, saddle bag, and a rear light. The bike also come with soul water bottle cages and a Blackburn pump. The bike has handle bar extension for a more aerodynamic positioning. The seat and wheels are quick release and the tires and 26 x 1.4 which provide a smoother ride on Texas chip seal. The price is $275 cash.
