Chicken Eggs from free-roaming farm chickens - $4 (Rogers)

condition: new
A dozen fresh eggs from free-roaming farm chickens. Light brown, dark brown, and green eggs. Unwashed with the bloom. Collected daily and immediately put in the refrigerator for best quality.

Why these eggs over those from a grocery store?
A hen's egg is a direct reflection of where she lives and what she eats. These hens roam about eating bugs, grains and seeds (and also have access to chicken feed). According to Backyard Chicken dot com, research shows that backyard chicken eggs contain a higher quality of nutrition compared to eggs laid by commercial factory hens.
- Twice as much Omega-3 Fatty Acids
- Three times more Vitamin E
- 1/3 less cholesterol
- 50% more folic acid
and much more!

These yolks are more orange than the store-bought ones, and the shells are harder (these girls get lots of calcium to make those eggs!). The eggs in the photo are some of the actual eggs.

Located in Rogers, TX (between Temple and Cameron).

$4.00 / dozen - Limited quantity, so don't wait!
