I have 18 straight run chicks available as early as this Friday (May 15th). Hatched May 5th. They are currently being taken care of by my students, so they will be very tame. This is our 3rd year hatching at my school and I can attest that the chickens I kept from last year’s hatch grew up to be exceptionally people friendly.
They are all Easter Eggers. The father is homozygous blue and the hens lay the pictured eggs. You can expect the grown chicks that are hens to produce pastel blues, creams, and mint or sage green eggs.
I’ve included a picture of the chicks, the eggs they hatched from, the parent flock, and a carton of eggs from last years daughters adopted by a coworker.
