Our client is hiring an experienced General Project Superintendent for a commercial construction project in Laredo, TX. This is a project-based role (~12 months) with excellent potential for long-term employment for the right candidate.
You must be willing to live in Laredo for the duration of the project.
If you're not already local, our client can provide housing.

- $80,000 – $110,000 per year depending on experience

== WHAT YOU'LL DO ==
- Lead all daily field operations on a commercial construction project
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews
- Develop and maintain project schedules including look-ahead schedules
- Enforce OSHA safety requirements and lead regular safety meetings
- Monitor quality through daily inspections and corrective action follow-up
- Manage RFIs, daily reports, change order tracking, and as-built records
- Work directly with the Project Manager, architects, engineers, and inspectors
- Oversee project closeout, commissioning, and punch list completion
== WHAT OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR ==
- 5+ years of commercial construction supervision experience
- Proven track record on ground-up and/or tenant improvement projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and building systems
- Ability to read blueprints, specs, shop drawings, and schedules
- Solid understanding of OSHA standards and building codes
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; Construction Management degree a plus
