Never heard of TAMUK? With long ears and a thinner coat, TAMUK rabbits handle the Texas heat and humidity well. This summer was a scorcher, but all of my rabbits did very well with the addition of frozen bottle in their cages to lay on in the afternoon. They have large litters and are ready to butcher at 10-12 weeks for approximately 3.5 pounds of meat. If you are looking to breed meat rabbits, look no further.
