This 2 piece set is one of a kind. Made of ferrous metals ( mostly brass) it features a 3/8 inch thick beveled and tempered clear glass top. The legs feature claw feet and both pieces are built to last. While the maker of these beautifully crafted tables are unknown -- similar models are made by W.H. Howell or styled after French Louis XVI and made in the 1940's up until the 1960's. All connected pieces are individually welded in the rough style format that was prevalent during these times. The bases are comprised of gilt cast brass with a darkened and aged pantina. A 3/8 inch cut of thick beveled clear tempered glass is placed on top of each base.
The bases of both tables weigh 35 pounds. The coffee table supports a 50 pound glass top and the end table has a 22 pound glass top. Excellent shape. Asking $495 OBO. Reasonable offers encouraged. Dimensions will be posted shortly.
