NEED medical supplies, bed ridden (Between Temple & Troy)

condition: like new
delivery available
PLEASE help if you're able.

You will be wasting your time if you're trying to sell me something, so just move on.

My mother, Millie, is a survivor of 2 crippling strokes. She is unable to walk more than a couple steps with extreme difficulty having lost almost all function of the right side, has severe aphasia (trouble with speech), incontinence, etc... This is not recent. Her first stroke occurred about 10 years ago, but with determination she became able to use a walker and adapted to primarily using her left hand. Approximately 6 months ago, she had a second stroke that robbed her of the ability to walk and stole the little strength she had on her right side. She will not recover back to her previous abilities, though I'm proud to say she never gives up.

She requires around the clock care so I stay home to care for her needs, such as, cooking, cleaning, bathing, changing her diapers, scheduling in-home therapists paid for by Medicare, and so much more. The loss of my income, insufficient coverage, the high cost of supplies and household staples, the bills in an aging home built by her husband (my father, Joe, who passed many years ago) have us struggling.

We are in desperate need of
-Incontinence supplies:
Size large adult diapers
Moist wipes
Disposable gloves
-Bed Pads
Reusable or disposable
-Communication aids
-Bed ridden patient bathing and
cleansing tools and aids
-Walk in shower with seating big
enough for wheelchair (can trade
WORKING Jacuzzi brand big enough
for 2 with jets tub)
-Toilet with elongated bowl and bidet
installed

-The biggest needs of all is a vehicle capable of transporting her and the specialized-to-her-needs power chair she will be receiving and our 300' driveway graded and some kind of surface applied. As it has turned mostly to dirt after all these years and the uneven roughness causes her pain no matter how slow I go. (I can possibly trade titled automobile and marine vehicles, all done by the book and properly documented)

And the leaks in the roof fixed.

I know, it is a lot, but sometimes even the smallest can make a big difference.

My mother is a wonderful woman who spent her life supporting the family and helping others, especially the elderly residents in local nursing homes who had no one. She made them feel loved, but most importantly, remembered. She has taught me so much and, in my humble opinion, was and is one of the best people to grace our community; from Troy to Granger, from Rosebud to Stillhouse. She tried her best to never leave a cry for help unanswered. She deserves to feel remembered, comfortable, safe, and the love and care she has always willingly and openly given to all, great or small, human or creature... I just can't afford it.

To be clear:

I AM NOT ASKING FOR MONETARY DONATIONS!

I AM IN SEARCH OF PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES TO ASSIST MY SEVERELY DISABLED MOTHER REMAIN COMFORTABLY IN THE HOME HER HUSBAND, THE LOVE OF HER LIFE, BUILT FOR HER.

If you've read this far and can possibly help or know of someone or something that can help, please TEXT or EMAIL.

Thank you for time and thoughts and blessed be.

Sincerely,

Kit
